i just saw this on comp.sys.dec, if anyone's in the SF bay area
I have a bunch of DEC equipment: DECstations 5000/240 and 3100, SCSI
disks (some never used), TK50 drive and tapes, keyboard, mice, cables,
manuals, etc. I am in Berkeley and not planing to ship anywhere.

this was also posted here earlier this month.

not much takers for this gear these days. I finally decomissioned my
5000/240 (still running 1.4.3A) in January, and got it ready for the
scrap pile a couple weeks ago.

has anybody booted NetBSD-6 on a 24MB PMIN/PMAX?

I still owe somebody out there some 16MB modules and a lofi.

Sorry guys but the good old gear is gone, Peter Wallace took it. He must be
one of the very few who still runs stuff on these machines. Me as an
incurable hoarder had a hard time getting rid of these, but I also need
some room to walk on my floor.

Cheers,

Daniel

Aaron,

The guy for the memory was me...I'd love to get them for my 240.

As a bit of a recovering hoarder myself, I've got a Decstation 5000-120 I never
got around to playing with. The machine is in no danger of being junked but if
someone wants to put it to work, it is available...

Heh. As a not-yet-recovering hoarder... :-/

Where is it geographically? It looks as though I soon will be moved
enough to contemplate dragging machines out and trying to make them do
something once again...and I think my existing pmax machines are all
broken one way or another (I really should check them...them and the
rest of my collection).
